Can't Stop Success in Amway!
I was over reading at the MLM Survivor's Club about a fellow named Daniel who spoke about a futile 4 year effort in Amway.
According to Daniel, he was core, and was the ideal IBO. However, it didn't work for him. Whether or not Daniel did or didn't do everything right (which has never been defined, BTW) is irrelevant.
What really caught my eye was when he started referring to a guy named Dr. Jim Wright who was apparently an Emerald ABO. I had heard that name before, and for the life of me, couldn't think of where it was. I finally found it over at an often overlooked site.
Looks like our good friend Dr. Wright was still an Emerald 10 years ago.
I'd like to talk to Dr. Wright to find out just how well things are going...
I've got some things going on right now and I haven't been blogging regularly. You can count on a post or 2 a week, but outside that, don't expect much.
Fret not, I'll be better than others.

Jim passed from cancer Rocket!!I dont understand why you are so set on putting a business down when it helps some people. I know you must've had a horrible let down when you worked at your biz but some really do succeed. I know you are on to other things and thats great!! You should be able to share with others your experience but I know we all have so many other things we can be doing than sitting on a computer and sending messages to people in hopes they read it.. Hope to meet you someday Rocket..Take care..
Only IBO's get into business to better their lives on a personal level...real world business is a different story.
Not to mention the business helps "some" people but it also hurts "many" people - at least financially.
So many business owners get in the Amway business BECAUSE its a different story. People have their own preferences and a lot of times when you experience headaches in one thing, the other thing becomes much more appealing.
When Jim passed, he left Maureen, his wife a steady income and something she, herself can build on, not likemost things out there.
Isnt that what free enterprise is about, capitalism, our system of economics..How many people start real world businesses and ReALLY get hurt financially. What a business that a college student can get involved, might not do well, quit but still gave it a shot, learned, and is bettter for it. Look at all the successes out there, how many of them made it happen on there first run at something.. If he decides its not going well or for him, he can stop," just a business decision, "many more to be made...More power to you that you got registered and stopped, now you know what you dont want and have experience. Some do make it though and again thats good too. What does that mean? Business works..Everyone fails, many decide after working at it, its not for them or find situations that they would rather not deal with. Every business is that way. Some decide to move on and some don't. Nothing illegal about Amway Global. Leader in industry. member of BBB..so what an oppurtunity for people to succeed or fail. Lets go find something that fits and make that work..
Interesting...
Jim Wright still has an active phone number with answering machine. Is there a way you could verify that he did pass away?
There's quite a few websites with Dr. Jim Wright on it, but I have yet to find one about him passing away.
Yes anon, you're right about one thing. This business does help SOME people. Most people end up walking away poorer. No doubt some succeed, however, it is at the expense of others unfortunately.
You're right anon, I should be able to share my experiences, and I am. And will continue to. Because I think it's a mistake that people can avoid if they do any type of due diligence when investigating the opportunity.
I hope to meet you someday as well.
In the meantime, you are a current IBO who likes being involved in Amway. Would you care to have an email interview with me so I can better understand your position?
I await your reply.
Did the dreamcatcher guy quit? Is he now bitter and a broke loser?

I think you are confusing people. The Jim Wright I knew passed from cancer but was not a Dr. Wright. He was married to Maureen Wright. They lived in Redmond WA and later Snohomish. I don't know if this helps or not. I am not in the biz anymore, btw.
Just saw elsewhere. The JIm I was referring to was not the Dr. you mentioned. I now remember the laugh we had back in the day about another Emerald couple named Jim and Maureen Wright.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Why are you not in the business anymore?
