Amway! Wake Up!

Sometimes I'm at a complete loss for words when I see the prices that IBO's Pay for stuff.

I was with my family shopping in a "negative" store, and saw this water display:

In case you can't see the price tag, let me assure you it's right here:

And then we have the "Perfect" Competition:

Perfect Empowered Drinking Waterâ„¢
$47.76

Yeah, that's $47.76 for water, a case of 24. The exact same amount (16.9 fl oz. per bottle) Keep in mind, from what I understand, if you get ONLY the water (which would give me an indication of your intelligence level) then you would also have to pay for shipping.

Am I the only one who sees this?

How can people look at this and think, "Yeah, I'm going to get me a case of $50 water.

I must apologize for my lack of posts lately, I've had a few things at work pop up that have required my time.

Maybe I should start paying $50 for a case of water and get on the road to freedom.

Can't wait to see how one of the Amtards spins this one.

Hey Amway! Take Down A Memo!

Some of you may or may not know about the Listeria outbreak in Canada which originated at Maple Leaf Foods. Unfortunately, listeria got into the Canadian food chain, and has even caused death for some poor folks.

I will buy Maple Leaf again. Wanna know why? Check out this video:

Here is a company that has made a horrible mistake, and been responsible for people dying. Yet, there's no talk of things beyond their control, there's no finger pointing or legal backstops and brick walls. You don't hear them blaming their distributors, employees, or scientists. You don't see them throwing out ridiculous PR bullshit to save their skins or attempt to throw people off by making up plausible but not likely stories. They aren't trying to resolve everything behind closed doors.

You also don't see them google bombing, or getting people to try and control the damage that their very own mistake has caused.

They made a mistake.

They are sorry, and will do everything in their power to make sure it doesn't happen again. THEY ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY, knowing that it may cost them in lawsuits.

I wish that happened more often.

Amway, are you paying attention? Perhaps you could take lessons on responsibility from a fine company.

Or, keep doing what you're doing. I don't care.

Amway - Completely Out Of Control?

I've been thinking a lot the past couple of days about the dudes that were trying to have a discussion about Amway. You remember that don't you? Yes, I knew you would. That's the online conversation that was being patrolled by the usual ditchpigs who have declared themselves the sole and virtuous defenders of Amway's honor and virtue.

Absurdity of that aside, let's look at the obvious. Even people who aren't aware of the cult-like aspects, the tools problem, and the ridiculous prices of the products were able to identify immediately what everyone already knows...There are a bunch of Amway trolls on the internet who lurk in the online nooks and crannies for any chance to jump out behind the virtual bushes to school people on the exemplary business which is Amway.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that gave me tremendous satisfaction watching those idiots get put in their place and called out for what they are....Amway infected simpletons.

But let's take an even bigger look here, and set aside the glee it gave us. (God that was funny!)

I have, for quite some time, been convinced to a degree, that David Steadson sorry, IBOFB is nothing more than a paid corporation schill. I'm not saying it's true, I just don't get the motivation for responding to Google Alerts, and in general, trying to make sure that whatever people see and read about Amway is accompanied with Steadson doing damage control. Why is that? The corporation has already told me that they do not pay him, nor is he employed by them.

Fair enough. But is he on someone else's payroll? Think about it for a minute.

From what I've seen, David Steadson, defender of Amway, distorter of the facts, tutelary hero of winners, is a completely arrogant, know it all, pretentious waste of skin.

I don't think that it's beyond the realm of possibility that he would see that Amway, and therefore the LCK, have a fairly substantial PR problem. I also see him being so pompous as to approach a LCK, or a group of LCK with a proposal to get this under control. He's so smart you see, he can convince anyone of anything. He's David Steadson!

The LCK would be happy to pay anyone anything to make this whole internet pointing out the truth thing go away, and happily retain his services, confident that the information about Amway will once again be theirs to control.

Steadson then assumes the monniker of IBOFB to give the appearance that he is just trying to defend a business that he is trying to build. He leaves a few comments, then WHAMMO! He's got a website completely devoted to all things good about Amway.

It goes OK for a while, and he gets a hold of the Amway Wiki. Steadson rubs his hands with glee! His employers will be most happy with this! More Control!

He gets Google Alerts, and a merry band of bumbling idiots who follow him thinking that he's just one of the ABO's trying to give a "proper" view of Amway online. He dispatches his retards associates to wherever there's problems, and they try to set things right whenever they can.

But it's not working! Obviously it's not working. The dudes discussing Amway is a case study of why it's not working.

You know why? People are sick of the bullshit associated with the Amway name! Amway has done NOTHING to get the leadership under control, except MAYBE they kicked out a few that weren't going to change. Woodward says he quit, but nobody knows for sure.

In any event, my theory about David Steadson is just that. A theory. BUT

If it even has an iota of truth to it, it shows 2 things.

1. The LCK are spending their money for nothing because Steadson is doing a shitty job.

2. Amway is not doing anything different than a few years ago. Just going about it in a different way.

Until there is meaningful change, nothing will change. As it sits, and as evidenced this week, Amway is still nothing but a joke. It's very own people prove it time and time again.

Steadson moderates comments and bans people who shine the light on the glaring truths which there is no argument against. Good for him, but it isn't helping his cause.

If Amway can stop you from selling XS at a Little League baseball tournament, you'd think they could put a little effort into stopping asshats like Steadson from ruining their reputation even more.

Mind you, they also believe Dexter Yager believes in the right to differ.

They Wonder Why Everyone Hates Amway....

I caught this little gem over in the QBLOG Forum

Looks like some dudes were trying to have a discussion about Amway.

Enter the idiots, Wearyeyed, David SteadsonIBOFB, and Bridgett.

I guess these folks respond to Google Alerts like Batman responds to the Bat Signal from Commissioner Gordon.

And they have the nerve to call me and Mike trolls?

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Thanks for the notification Joecool!

That is an utterly disappointing existence! They must lay awake in bed at night wondering how life came off the rails so fast!

What a bunch of dillholes.

***UPDATE***

I changed the title of this post from They Wonder Why Everyone Hates Them to ensure that they saw this.

That way they will be aware of their dillholiness.

Orrin Woodward and his dubious Legal Fund

Yeah, that's right. I'm still not done with Soarin' Orrin Woodward. Other than the usual raping and pillaging of the desperate and hopeful, he's set up a legal fund to extract even more money from the people who (unwisely) trust him. I see he has taken out the comment option on his blog. Obviously, he's not one of those leaders that accepts feedback, nor cares to hear dissenting opinions. Must be tough trying to keep a sham a sham this day and age.

Back in April I sent a few emails to the legal fund asking for clarification. I had a response that was, in Woodwardese, fantastic. By fantastic, I mean that I didn't get a response, isn't that great!

By the way, if you want to become brainwashed and stupid enough to not ask questions, you can buy the motivational crap over at the retail website!

NO RESPONSE!

Why would that be? Well, I can only guess since nobody sent me an answer, but my first thought is that if someone was questioning how I was handling other people's money in a trust type fund, I'd do my best to ensure that everything was fair and above board.

That is, of course, if everything was indeed fair and above board. I'll leave it up to you to decide.

As usual, Woodward grabs something that is supposed to stand for all that is good by using the Declaration of Independence on the right hand side of the web page. This is just a typical maneuver to instill confidence in people that they are a wholesome and God fearing bunch.

I don't think so.

If Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady really were as wholesome and honest as they purport themselves, then there would be no unanswered questions about the legal fund. There would be a reply to anyone asking, in order to ensure that there is not even a perception of impropriety. Even if a whole bunch of people were asking questions, they would at least have a form type response explaining the handling of the legal fund.

So put it all together, faithful reader. I will summarize in point form, then show you the emails.

1 - Woodward and Brady have no compensation plan based on the movement of motivation. You are shooting for the stars, but you don't know what the reward will be when you reach it. If it isn't public, there's a reason. Maybe it's a legal problem, maybe it's because they decide based on how much they like you, who you're friends with, etc... Either way, there's no recourse if you aren't satisfied, and you should walk the hell away.

2 - They are asking for money to defend them from Amway, but don't give you any explanation for it's use, who uses it, and a myriad of other eyebrow raising issues go unanswered. Hey, you can give them money if you want. But it makes you an idiot. Even IBO Rebellion had NO CLUE how the legal fund works, and he's in a position to find out!

Run away, run away, run away from Woodward and Brady. Otherwise you deserve to lose your money on useless purple juice (which has ZERO physical benefit), useless travel to Kentucky, and useless motivation that makes you feel good.

Before I go, I see that my former Amway Diamonds, Mark & Tami Crawford just went Black Diamond. I'll bet that was tough, just putting their old group under them. What a load of shit Woodward, Crawford, Brady, and Monavie are.

Here's my emails to whoever runs the legal fund.

Hello

I am the owner of the blog, Rocket's Rants.

I visited your website to find out some answers to numerous questions I have about the IBO Legal Defense Fund.

If you visit my blog, you will find that I recently have had a series going on after I had email exchanges with an ex Quixtar IBO who runs a blog called IBO Rebellion.

He did not know the answers to any of the following questions in regards to the Legal Fund:

1. Who manages it?

2. Who decides the criteria on which it is utilized?

3. Who has signing authority?

4. Is there a vote or a quorum reached on who utilizes the funds?

5. Does any TEAM member qualify if they contribute?

6. Do the TEAM people who contribute to the fund have a say as to
how
it's dispersed?

In the interest of
fairness, I would like to now pose those same questions to you,
the apparent contact for the IBO Legal Defense fund.

The lack of information available to TEAM members as well as the general public
creates an unfavorable image of TEAM, and I would like to only have the facts in that
regard.

If you are unable to provide me with this information, unfortunately I believe the readers
will draw an unfavorable opinion regarding the ethics of running such a secretive fund.

Right now, I can only presume Mr. Woodward or one of the "leaders" of TEAM is running
the legal fund.

Many Thanks, and have an awesome day!

Rocket.

Hello again

Below you will find an email I sent you a while ago. Just wondering if this is secret, or if you have reasons to not have transparency with the legal fund.

Looking forward to a reply! Your response or lack of response will be posted online for all to see....

Hello

I have emailed you a couple of times with a few very straightforward questions about TEAM.

I am getting ready to do a post on my blog (www.rocketsrants.blogspot.com) and wanted to provide you with an opportunity to respond to those questions before commenting on my opinions on the Legal Fund.

Your lack of a response makes it difficult to have anything positive to say, since my concerns and suspicions have yet to have been addressed, and I fail to see what the big deal is, unless it is something that would perhaps make the leadership of TEAM look rather untoward nor above board.

I look forward to a response, and copies of my previous emails are below.

Have a great Day!

Censored!

I know, I know. It doesn't sound like an Amway supporter to be censoring the free flow of ideas, but what can I tell ya? It happened!

IBOFB I guess doesn't have the time to continually troll posts and do damage control all over the internet, make sure the Amway Wiki is all good about Amway all of the time, and still have as normal a life as a dipshit such as himself can possibly have!

Well, that just doesn't work anymore, so I will post my retort to their classless (and unwarranted) attack on Mike's rather innocuous question.

I wish I could say I was surprised, but then again, I'm a little happy that David Steadson hasn't the balls to defend Amway transparently. He just proved with his actions more than I ever could about what a farce he is.

To any IBO investigating David Steadson or Amway. Ask yourself why he needs to sensor? Here's my comment that he couldn't deal with. Expect more!

Pretending to be smarter than someone because they see right through deceit is downright arrogant. Mike asked a pretty reasonable question which may interest (and enlighten) a casual observer.

Someone visiting this site not familiar with Amway could deduce that Ms. Cheng is successful because she's an Amway distributor.

Now that person would know that is not the case. She's an employee.

Hence the indignant righteousness from the usual suspects.

Make no mistake about it, it really bothers Bridgett and IBOFB that people point out fact about Amway.

'Cause facts about Amway just aren't really much to be proud about.

Tools Tools and...you guessed it....more tools.

The Aus Amway Victims website has a very revealing post about the massive quantities of "tools" for sale.

Of course, the people selling the tools are obviously losers who didn't have what it took to succeed.

There are obviously way more problems with this "business" than many care to admit.

The nerve of some people for calling bullshit on bullshitters.

Desperation Ain't Pretty

I gotta comment on the Eva Cheng post from IBOFB.

Read for yourself.

What a sad, sad, little man. He's got to have something else to do with his life, wouldn't you think?

If I was involved in a business that I felt needed me to do damage control as IBOFB does, I wouldn't be in it for long.

But then, I'm not an idiot.

Amway and Arrogance

I got to thinking about the two A's listed in the title of this post. Personally, I think it's a very appropriate link for several reasons. Ultimately these reasons stem from ABO's defending numerous aspects of their wannabe rich scam business.

First and foremost, the money from the tools is either downplayed or dismissed as nothing to worry about because Amway has taken care of the problem in an open and transparent manner...mmmfff......mmmffffppph. Sorry, I just barfed a little bit into my mouth as I was typing that.

If you believe that Amway has taken the necessary steps to ensure that the thing that pissed people off in the first place doesn't happen anymore, then you are simply uninformed, brainwashed, or stupid. If you are uninformed, get informed. If you are brainwashed or stupid, then maybe pull away from functions and motivational tools for 6 months or so. Remember, your upline has likely told you that you can do almost ANYTHING for 6 months. That would also include that you can GO WITHOUT their motivation for a time as well.

Secondly, I'm going to beat the shit out of this dead horse about the prices. Bridshit and IBOFB seem to think that anyone who doesn't like Amway's prices is cheap, uninformed, foolish, and not aware of the facts which justify the absolutely ludicrous prices in their business.

Guess what? Here it comes...

I'm really not aware of the facts
which justify the absolutely ludicrous prices in their business. Guess why?

BECAUSE THERE AREN'T ANY!

Those two asshats have had MONTHS if not YEARS to explain in a frank and forward manner why the prices are fairly priced. They haven't. Because they can't, and I for one am pretty much tired of listening to their arrogant and unbelieveably slanted opinions which basically tell you nothing. Check out Bridgett's Challenge on the links to the right.-----> Any IBO who has been on this blog (there's been a few who've emailed me thanking me for my candor because it helped them) has had a chance to prove to me how wrong I am. They don't because they can't. I guess they're right about one thing though, Amway is a level playing field.

It sucks for everyone to try and retail.

Sure, they will compare the Amway products to other crap that is overpriced too. Big Deal. If this is a business for the masses, then you are simply targeting the wrong peoploe with the wrong products.

Of course, they do have something to gain by trying to
trick convince you because they both can gain financially if you'll just believe it for a while.

I hate the fact that Amway thinks they're doing a good job addressing the problems.

I hate the fact that people like IBOFB and Bridgett think they are right about what they are doing and refuse to acknowledge reality.

I can at least understand why Bridgett is the way she is. I mean, she works in the movie industry and her husband is some kind of PR dude. Their whole life and livlihoods are based on people playing make believe. They're actually probably a good fit for this business because it's pretty much a magic show whose tricks have been revealed.

Watching Amway do damage control and make it look like they're doing something is more like watching a circus. It's mildly amusing at first, amybe even a bit interesting, but after a while you're ready to let the more simple minded people stick around to watch the show because your intelligence is being insulted.

I for one don't believe that many people have success retailing in the Amway business. At all. Sure they say they do, but I don't believe that there are people that are stupid enough to pay retail prices for Amway crap that are smart enough not to get involved. Never been proven online as far as I know. That would shut me up, but nobody seems to want to man (or woman) up to show me.

The way Amway treats it's ABO's and critics is arrogant. The way ABO's treat critics is arrogant.

In my opinion, Amway and ABO's can be arrogant as much as they want. I don't care. They are bullshitting about their business all the time anyways and anyone with half a brain can see it.

But don't be surprised when people listen to those who aren't arrogant. Like the critics who have nothing to gain financially by saying what they think. They might be a bit rude, but, meh...

Most people can see what you folks are doing. It's even less effective now than 10 years ago. Stop being dishonest and deflecting.

Or don't, I don't give a rat's ass what you do. In fact, keep doing what you're doing.

Makes my points a lot easier to make.

IBOFB and Accreditation

The more I read IBOFB at his blog, the more I walk away dumber than when I got there.

He has a post up today trying to convince people that accreditation is where it's at now, and is Amway's answer to "quality control" when it comes to how businesses are run by, as Tex lovingly refers to them, Lying Cowardly Kingpins.

I decided to go read up on what accreditation in the Amway world entails. The reason why the accreditation came to be was, "...to help ensure that all IBO professional development has a 100% positive influence on the development of IBO businesses". In my opinion, it's a bunch of rhetoric. You're, as always Reader, free to disagree.

I took a check around to see who is accredited, and found out that Larry Winters is accredited.

Wow, look no further than Larry Winters to see how an Amway Accredited function is run.

Run, don't walk all you hopeful Amwayers out there, and hitch your wagon to Larry the loser's shining star.

Great to see that Amway is really grabbing the bull by the horns on this issue.

Amway Australia..Yeah, it's that good

While posting over at IBOFB's blog "The Truth About Amway", I have made mention a number of times about personal opinions about the business, such as what I perceive to be overpriced products.

Inevitably, what it all shakes out to is that IBOFB tells me that it's only my opinion that the pricing is out of whack.

Guess What? It's only IBOFB's and Bridgett's opinion that the pricing is OK!

It's just another blatant example of IBOFB spinning data for his own personal gain, and it is absolutely crystal clear that he cannot possibly be taken seriously as an objective voice by anybody researching this business.

Problem #1 - If the prices are so good, then why do the majority of people who quit stop buying?

Problem #2 - If Amway has been and is so great, then why the hell are they doing this big change?

Problem #3 - If Amway is so ethical and fundamentally sound, then why all the court cases? Why the arbitration? Why does Amway seem to always try and keep it's dirty little secrets wrapped up in arbitration? Predominantly it happens in the U.S., but even in the home country of IBOFB, there's still HUGE issues! Look at Amway of Australia v Clif One Pty Ltd. That's not such a glowing reference! Even the big pins aren't immune to this type of thing according to Trevor Chatham!

Problem #4 - The reputation. 'nuff said

I know that IBOFB and Bridgett "et al" really take issue with people like me giving my opinion. Fair enough, and I really don't give a shit what they like and don't like. Quite frankly, I find the constant spin doctoring and excuse making completely reprehensible, given the fact that they have something to gain financially by doing so.

I have made it clear that people have quit Amway/Quixtar when they've approached me about it and I've shown them what I know. I've shown them the price problems, reputation problems, and after they've seen that, I've shown them the websites like IBOFB's. After they've seen everything, they aren't interested anymore because they felt deceived.

That's the problem, and it's still going on. Tex sees it, and here's an example of an ABO wanting it to go right, and it just won't.

I was seriously considering giving up on blogging, as it seemed to just be going stale. After a few exchanges with some deceivers that can't seem to get into their heads that the jig is up, I've gotten renewed energy for exposing what I personally feel to be a business opportunity that simply doesn't deliver as advertised.

People like IBOFB are the reason for that.

And they are the reason I'm gonna keep at it. I encourage you to do the same.
